Our relationship with ourselves (are we happy about who we are), others, and life is holistic; if it gets out of kilter then we become discordant and uneasy and then a whole manner of silly things happen which makes matters even worse. It's important that we understand this because any relationship, if it is to be sound, must have some firm foundations because nothing in life lives in isolation - everything has a part in something else.
How we perceive life, how we view life, how we create our own ideology of life makes a tremendous difference to our enjoyment and how we get on with others or, indeed, how others get on with us. Our friends and significant others are a reflection of who we are and if we/they aren't so good because of this then everything will be predominantly discordant or not so wholesome or never produce any degrees of lasting happiness.
This is part one of two downloads on relationships and how we can make or break them.
